For those of you that want to study in Canada, it’s very important you have the right documents
Requirements for Canadian study permit in Nigeria

Proof of acceptance
This is just the letter from the institution you applied for in Canada (the institution must be recognized by the Canadian government)

Proof of identity
You need to provide a valid passport ( 2 recent sized photos of you with your name and date of birth specified at the back)

Proof of financial support
You must provide a bank statement or anything similar that will cover your stay and expenses during your stay as a student in Canada including your tuition fees and living expenses.

Letter of explanation
This is a letter that explains to the visa officer that you know the implications of you going to study in Canada.
You must
Have paid for the study permit and provide proof.
Be in good health and be willing to complete your medical examination if necessary
Be able to satisfy the immigration officer that will leave Canada at the end of your stay
Not have any criminal record

How much is Canadian student visa fee in Nigeria
The fee for the study permit is about $150 (CAD) and then biometrics fee is $85 (CAD). You will also need to pay a service fee of $45.
How to apply for a Canadian study permit in Nigeria
There are basically two ways of applying for a study permit in Canada
You can apply online here for your Canadian student visa
or You can also apply on paper by visiting any Canada embassy in your country
After applying for a study permit you are going to receive a Letter of Introduction that shows that you have being accepted or a letter that tells you why you were rejected note; letter of introduction is not a study permit, take the letter with you to the immigration officials at the point of entry.
