How to transfer credit from glo to mtn
If you have friends that are using the mtn network and want you to transfer airtime to them from your glo sim, the only way to do that is to send them airtime from your bank account or you can as well buy from a retail store and send to them as text message because glo does not allow you to send airtime from your glo sim to an mtn sim, the person you’re sending to must be on the glo network.
If your friends get or have a glo line here’s how you can send them airtime from your glo sim to their glo line.
Transfer credit from glo to glo
For you to be able to send credit to your friends on the glo network you need to have a transfer pin. If it’s your first time performing a transfer transaction you already have a transfer pin which is 00000. This is a default pin assigned to you by glo but you wouldn’t want to use that right?
I’m not saying is wrong to use that pin but to be on the safer side it’s better to change to your own personal and preferred pin to avoid unauthorized friends to tamper with your account without your permission.
How to change transfer pin on glo
To do this using ussd code dial *132*Default pin*New pin*New pin#
If your new pin is 12345 dial *132*00000*12345*12345# and send. You’ll get a message confirming your change of pin.
(Don’t use 12345 as your new pin as this is very easy to guess by your friends, use a harder one instead that you can easily remember)
After changing your transfer pin you can now send airtime to your friends using glo
How to share credit on glo
To share credit from your glo sim to another glo sim is very easy, you can actually do this in less than a minute.
With your phone dial *131*Recipients phone no*Amount*New pin#
If the number you’re sending to is 0805XXXXXXX and amount you’re sending is 100
You should have *131*0805XXXXXXX*100*12345#
Make sure you input the correct number and amount before sending as you cannot reverse this once sent.
After sending you’ll receive a message confirming you transfer transaction.
