Glo’s fair usage policy applies to each of these fixed YouTube plans. So let us believe 1 MB is 1 MB worth of video streaming.
The problem with these bundles is that they are limited and YouTube is not a platform with limited content. Even if you intend to go watch a single video, let’s say for research purposes, chances are you are going to get caught up with recommended videos and your data will be exhausted before you know it.
Also, in a bid to save data, you might decide to watch videos on YouTube at a very low quality just to extend your data reach. If you are one of those that are fond of doing any of the above, well, Glo also offers a time-based YouTube plan.
This is similar to the normal YouTube plan, but instead of a data allowance, you are given a time frame to surf YouTube. So you can watch as many videos as you want, at the highest quality you want, without having to worry about exhausting your data.
The time-based Glo YouTube plan comes in 4 different packs. Out of the four, two work at any time of the day. The remaining two are for night hours.
- N50 for 1 hour of YouTube streaming time.
- N130 for 3 hours of YouTube streaming time.
- 5 hours of YouTube streaming time at night for N50.
- 7 hours of YouTube streaming time at night for N200.

You should note that these time-based YouTube plans are for streaming only YouTube videos only, either on the website or with the YouTube app.
You cannot save/download YouTube videos with it. Doing so will be because it is being charged from your existing data bundle or your airtime.

- Select 1 to buy data
- Choose between On-off or auto-renewal of the bundle you want to purchase.
- Now select 6 for social bundles.
- Finally, select 2 for YouTube bundles and then choose any of the plans you want from the list.

Glo youtube night plan time
The timed-based Glo YouTube plans also include night plans. 5 hours of YouTube streaming time at night for N50. And 7 hours of YouTube streaming time at night for N200. The glo youtube night plan time is from 12am to 5am.
So when you subscribe for the Glo YouTube night plans, you only get to use it within those hours. Among others, Data plan purchases of at least N500 also gives YouTube night data bonus. These are usable within the hours of 1am to 5am.
